What it's like to work with Auntie
As an Auntie Mental Wellbeing Professional, you work as an independent practitioner under a cooperation agreement. You decide when you're available, how many clients you would like to work with, and you can work fully remotely from anywhere.
We provide:
clients according to your availability and preferred workload
comprehensive onboarding and introduction to the Auntie way of working
structured package handbooks and a large library of practical exercises
continuous support from our experienced Auntie team
flexible cooperation that can remain small-scale or grow over time
Our approach
Auntie offers preventive psychological support – not therapy or healthcare.
Our discussion packages typically consist of five 45-minute online sessions, offering both supportive conversations and practical tools for meaningful everyday change. We help clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult situations and develop practical mental skills such as resilience, recovery, communication, emotional flexibility and self-leadership.
Our approach is evidence-based, practical and coaching-oriented, drawing primarily on:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Solution-focused therapy and coaching
Positive psychology
Because Auntie is a preventive wellbeing service, the work does not include providing healthcare, making diagnoses or maintaining patient records.
Who we're looking for
We typically work with professionals whose background is in psychology, psychotherapy, brief therapy or another relevant field of psychosocial support.
In addition to a suitable professional qualification, we value:
experience in providing psychosocial support online
excellent communication skills
the ability to work in a structured, practical and solution-focused way
Interested?
At the moment we have a strong network of mental wellbeing professionals, so we are not actively recruiting. However, our needs can change quickly as we continue to grow.
If you'd like to be considered for future opportunities, we'd love to hear from you. Leave your application here, and we'll be in touch if a suitable opening becomes available.
